PCI Race Radios Clash at Cross Bar Ranch Race Results

Wolff Races to Victory in Oklahoma, Rants Family Dominates, and the Vaneperens Continue to Impress

Davis, OK — The 2025 PCI Race Radios Clash at Cross Bar Ranch saw fierce battles across nine different classes, with competitors from all over the country converging to take on the rugged terrain and challenging conditions. From the youthful energy of the UTV 170 class to the brutality of the 4400 Unlimited, each race provided fans with thrilling moments and fierce competition.


170 UTV Class – Future Legends Show Their Speed

The UTV 170 class, featuring up-and-coming racers, showcased the next generation of off-road talent in a 15-minute timed race. Lane Plummer (#4, UTV 170 - Limited) was all business, leading the pack with an impressive total of 12 laps and a fast lap of 1:20.447. His consistent pace earned him the overall win, while Ryder Nelson (#7, UTV 170 - Stock) took second place after completing 11 laps, finishing just 8 seconds ahead of third-place finisher Hunter Biddle (#107, UTV 170 - Limited), who also posted a fast lap of 1:28.446. Despite fierce competition, Eli Robbins (#831, UTV 170 - Stock) couldn’t catch up after a couple of mistakes but still finished fourth with 9 laps.


4900 AllThingz UTV Open Class – Wolff Kicks Off the Weekend with a Win

The 4900 UTV Open class was the first of three races for Paul Wolff (#1018), who kicked off his weekend with a commanding victory. Wolff completed the three-lap race in 1:52:53.388, maintaining an average lap time of 37:37.796. Wolff, always known for his consistency and quick thinking, held a steady lead over Robert Liebel (#441), who finished 6:33.800 behind in second place. Jay Shaw (#17) followed closely in third, finishing 8 minutes behind Wolff. The competition was stiff, but Wolff’s ability to maintain the fastest laps of the race set him apart.


4900 UTV Stock Class – Vaneperens Sweep the Stock Class

In the 4900 UTV Stock class, the Vaneperen family once again proved their dominance. Rodney Vaneperen (#45) finished on top after completing three laps in 3:02:05.939, with a fast lap of 56:50.262. His son Owen Vaneperen (#5) followed in second, completing the race just 2 minutes behind his father. Justin Barth (#417) rounded out the podium in third place, keeping a steady pace despite a few issues. The Vaneperens’ success continued to showcase their incredible family teamwork and determination in the race.


4900 GForce Suspensioin Technologies Modified Class – Wolff's Second Victory of the Weekend and 10th Win in a Row

Paul Wolff was back at it again, this time in the 4900 UTV Modified class. After starting with the UTV Open win, Wolff finished the three-lap race in 1:49:55.278, claiming his second victory of the weekend and marking his 10th consecutive win in an Ultra4 USA race in his Can-Am Off-Road race car. This victory further solidifies Wolff’s incredible dominance in the sport. Jay Shaw (#17) followed up his earlier third-place finish in the Open class by securing second place in the Modified class, 11 minutes behind Wolff. Eric Gilbert (#1133) finished third after running a solid race but fell short due to a couple of costly mistakes.


4500 Modified Class – Shawn Rants Takes the Win

The 4500 Modified class was another heated race where Shawn Rants (#4531) demonstrated his driving expertise. Rants completed the three-lap race in 3:40:27.567, maintaining an impressive 1:07:03.104 average lap time. Rants kept a solid lead throughout, avoiding the major issues that plagued several of his competitors. Cody StClair (#4561) finished one lap behind in second, while Ben Ertel (#5337) secured third place, despite enduring heavy pressure and a challenging race.


4600 Spidertrax Stock Class – A Close Call for John Rants

In the 4600 Stock class, it came down to the final seconds between John Rants (#431) and Mick Henson (#4619). The two battled neck-and-neck for most of the race, with John Rants narrowly edging out Henson by just 7.3 seconds. Both competitors completed two laps, and while the race was close, Rants held the edge with his faster average lap times and strategic pace.


4800 Branik Motorsports Legends Class – Josh Hacker Survives the Chaos

The 4800 Limited class provided a true test of endurance, with Josh Hacker (#1313) surviving a grueling three-lap race to take home the win in 2:37:30.232. Hacker fought through tough competitors like Justin Barth (#417), who finished six minutes behind in second place, and Scott Farley (#4824), who took third despite enduring heavy pressure and a challenging race. Hacker’s ability to keep a consistent pace was key to his victory.


4400 Unlimited Class – Wolff Ends the Weekend with a Dominant Win

Paul Wolff capped off his incredible weekend with a dominant performance in the 4400 Unlimited class, securing the overall win with a total time of 2:29:57.038. After a solid qualification and consistent lap times, Wolff finished 36 minutes ahead of Tad Dowker (#906), who came in second. Chris Branton (#4046) followed up in third place after a tough race in which he finished 16:49.051 behind Wolff. Wolff’s ability to deliver the fastest laps across all four laps—37:29.260 on his best lap—ensured he had the edge in a race full of aggressive competitors.
