The 2025 Blackhills Throwdown at the Buffalo Chip is shaping up to be the ultimate off-road racing event, offering an upgraded experience for racers at the 85th Anniversary of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. What’s New for Racers:

  • Expanded Course: The 2025 Blackhills Throwdown will feature an expanded 6-mile course, introducing new challenges including step-up jumps, steep hill climbs, and the highly anticipated "Roller Coaster." These additions promise to test every aspect of a racer’s skill and machine capability.

  • Dust-Free Racing: The course has been equipped with an advanced irrigation system, ensuring minimal dust and providing better racing conditions for drivers. This improvement enhances visibility and promotes a smoother, more consistent race experience.

  • Upgraded Spectator and Racer Areas: Racers will benefit from a new VIP area and a shaded spectator zone, designed to offer a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the event. In addition, the venue will feature a new bar area for all to enjoy.

  • Food Truck and Onsite Dining: For the first time, a food truck will be available on-site offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday and Saturday, ensuring that racers and fans stay fueled throughout the event.

  • Ultra4 will be the main attraction at the parade & kick off party at the Buffalo Chip
